MEDICAL MISSION
We have regular participation from a strong medical team of doctors, nurses, physician assistants, emergency medical technicians, students (medical and nursing), and others. Our goal with this team is to begin to understand the health needs faced by each of the families and to continue to improve their physical condition yearly. Medical teams conduct clinics in many villages, treating a large variety of ailments, while gaining family histories to understand existing health conditions.
We also train individuals who can provide on-going care in our absence through our Healer program. In addition, we are training numerous local young adults and plan to facilitate their education in the health field.
